Neurotransmitters are the chemical messengers responsible for sending messages around the body, and influence mental health. This profile assesses the levels of nine key neurotransmitters including Serotonin, GABA, Dopamine, Noradrenaline, Adrenaline, Glutamate, ration, PEA, Glycine and Histamine.
The communication between neurotransmitters can affect mood, hormones, sleep, glucose and insulin balance, pain perception, appetite and general cognitive function.
Tailored neurotransmitter testing can identify biochemical irregularities, and may highlight areas for intervention or treatment.
