This profile assesses the levels of nine key neurotransmitters including Serotonin, GABA, Dopamine, Noradrenaline, Adrenaline, Glutamate, ration, PEA, Glycine and Histamine.
The communication between neurotransmitters can affect mood, hormones, sleep, glucose and insulin balance, pain perception, appetite and general cognitive function.
Tailored neurotransmitter testing can identify biochemical irregularities, and may highlight areas for intervention or treatment.
TEST TYPE: Spot urine
You will receive a package which will include all instructions, pathology form, details of sample collection locations.
Once your samples are received by the lab they will be assessed. The turnaround time for results is 7 – 10 business days but please be aware laboratory times may vary and you may experience a delay in results.
Once your confidential results have been sent to the medical team for review, they will call you to discuss your results and appropriate treatment options moving forward.
Finally, a copy of your results will be sent through to you for your reference.
